Finland will participate in the training exercise SIIL18 organised in Estonia from 3 to 14 May 2018. This exercise is the main annual training exercise of the Estonian Defence Forces. Participation in the exercise is included in the annual plan of the Finnish Defence Forces’ international activities concerning Army training.

To be able to ensure the supply of clean water the Finnish-Irish Battalion (FINIRISHBATT) together with the municipality of Aytarun provided a water purification plant to the residents of Aytarun in South Lebanon.

14.10.2016 | In South Lebanon a water reservoir was built to help the local farmers to supply water for their fields. The inauguration of the reservoir was held on the 8th of October 2016.
