30.4.2024 | The Finnish Defence Forces will deploy staff officers to the European Union’s Naval Force EUNAVFOR Operation Aspides established in February 2024, and to the US-led Operation Prosperity Guardian launched in December 2023, both of them active in the Red Sea and its adjacent areas. The objective of the operations is to secure free and safe navigation in the Red Sea.

11.3.2022 | Approximately 40 hybrid threat experts from the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) met this week in a workshop in countering hybrid threats in Santahamina in Helsinki, Finland. The purpose of the workshop was to exchange information between participating nations on the broad-spectrum influencing environment. The relevance of the topic has been underlined by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
