Johto- ja asiantuntijahenkilöstön kouluttajana PVKVK sekä vaalii entisen YK-koulutuskeskuksen perinteitä, että katsoo kohti tulevaisuutta kriisinhallinnan alati muuttuvassa toimintaympäristössä.
