The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg, will take part in the meeting of Nordic and Baltic chiefs of defence in Estonia on 14 January 2016.
The meeting is held annually with the chairmanship rotating between participating nations. The visit will be hosted by the Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Riho Terras. The agenda is put together collectively by all participating nations.
In addition to the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, the following will take part in meeting: the CHOD's special advisor, Colonel Vesa Nissinen, the head of Defence Command Finland's NORDEFCO Office, Lieutenant Colonel Timo Ristimäki, and General Lindberg's ADC, Major Timo Ronkainen.
