The Commander of the Lithuanian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Valdemaras Rupšys, will make an official visit to Finland on 16–17.8.2022. The visit will be hosted by the Commander of the Defence Forces, General Timo Kivinen.
During his visit, Lieutenant General Rupšys will hold one-on-one discussions with the commander of the Finnish Defence Forces. The visit is accompanied by an introduction to the Finnish conscription system and conscript training. Lieutenant General Rupšys visits the Armored Brigade, where he familiarizes himself with the conduct of conscript training.
