NORDEFCO COPA ARMA WG NATO Codification held training in Tampere

NORDEFCO Cooperation Area Armaments Working Group NATO Codification held the 3rd Nordic NATO Codification System (NCS) Advanced Training at the Logistic Command Headquarters in Tampere, Finland with 23 participants from Denmark, Finland (incl. Millog Oy), Norway and Sweden.

The training was tailored according to the Nordic National Codification Bureaus (NCB) requirements with the aim to provide advanced NCS training for experienced codifiers and NCB staff.

The main instructor was Mr. Pierre-Yves Gouriou from the French NCB, aided by Mr. Teemu Lakaniemi and Mrs. Jaana Kallioluoma from the Finnish NCB and Mr. Peter Jensen from the Danish NCB. Expenses were divided between the Nordic nations. Training feedback was extremely positive, indicating a strong requirement for Nordic cooperation of this nature.
