The Midnight Hawks is the official aerobatic team of the Finnish Air Force. 22.3.2023 | The Military World Championships in ski sports will be held 27.3-1.4.2023 in Boden. More than 400 participants representing 23 different countries will participate in the competitions. Among the participants are several world champions and medalists in this year's cross-country and biathlon. The last time similar competitions were held was in 2019 in Austria.

20.3.2025 | The CISM Military World Winter Games will be held in Switzerland during 24–29 March 2025. From Finland, the sporting competition will be participated by a 10-strong delegation comprising both conscripts and service personnel from the Finnish Defence Forces and the Finnish Border Guard.

13.4.2023 | NATO Supply and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has completed the competitive tendering process for ski equipment that meets the requirements of the Finnish Defence Forces. Through the NSPA, the Defence Forces Logistics Command will acquire more than 8,000 pairs of ski equipment for the Ground Forces' northern troops.
