Unexploded projectile detection

Sometimes you may encounter unexploded ordnance or explosive charge in nature. Do not touch or move the object.

Unexploded ordnance is found especially in firing and training areas, but explosives, especially wartime explosives, can still be found elsewhere.

Do not handle an unexploded projectile yourself. The Armed Forces mark and defuse unexploded ordnance in their own areas.

If you encounter unexploded ordnance in the areas of the Defence Forces, contact the nearest unit or the operator of the area. If you encounter a projectile or explosive device in civilian places, call 112 and wait for the police to arrive. Do not touch or move the projectile.
