Music and Experiences Across Finland

This summer, the Finnish Defence Forces' MILjazz tour offers an even more diverse music program! The tour, which kicks off on May 29 in Seinäjoki, will bring the bands to nine different locations. The tour will feature a variety of music styles, from traditional wind band music to jazz and pop.

On stage at all locations, you’ll hear the Air Force Big Band and the Defence Forces' conscript orchestra Showband. Additionally, there will be regional, changing ensembles. A visiting foreign ensemble will perform on June 2nd and 4th in Turku and Raasepori. During the tour, music will be played from 6 PM to 10 PM.

At the events, there will also be an opportunity to learn about the activities of the Finnish Defence Forces at information points, and enjoy doughnuts from the Military Café. In some locations, there will be an exhibition of military equipment, showcasing the Defence Forces' modern gear and technology.
