Notification of damage
Any damages detected in shooting and training areas must be reported to the person in charge of the area.
The responsible operator, which is usually a unit of the Finnish Defence Forces, is responsible, for example, for repairing faulty equipment. It also benefits from information about damage in the area.
Terrain damage must also be reported to the operator of the area. The area manager also receives reports of other disturbances in the area, such as noise problems in nearby areas. Notifications are considered in regional development measures.
