Acting on behalf of another person
You can use the Defence Forces’ e-Service on behalf of another person of at least 18 years of age, if you have been authorized to do so via Suomi.fi e-Authorisation. You can also use the e-Service on behalf of a minor if you are their legal guardian or you have been granted the mandate to act on the minor’s behalf by the guardians of the minor.
At the moment, you can act on behalf of another person in the following matters:
- To notify of a change in the state of health
- Requesting documents from the Military Medicine Archive
When you act on a mandate, you must first log into the Defence Forces e-Service using your own credentials. You can change your role only after this.
Requesting and granting authorization at Suomi.fi service
Suomi.fi e-Authorization is a service provided by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. It allows you to request authorization for acting on behalf of another person or to authorize another person or organization to act on your behalf in electronic services.
You can request or grant authorisation at the Suomi.fi e-Authorization service by clicking “grant and receive authorisation”
Persons who are unable to grant authorisation due to lack of skills or identifiers can be assisted in granting authorisation.
