The 2nd Logistics Regiment supports the administrative units of the Defence Forces and the Border Guard in the organisation of logistics and support in all states of readiness. As for its special features, the Regiment conducts maintenance tasks related to the Navy’s special materiel and services involving clothing, tents and field accommodation, field provisioning and medical materiel in the Defence Forces.

15.2.2024 | The Guard Jaeger Regiment -led local defence exercise Kehä 24, the first one this year, will be held during 3.–8.3.2024 in Eastern Uusimaa. The strength of the training audience will be up to c. 1,000 personnel comprising conscripts, reservists, and service personnel. The exercise will be commanded by Deputy Commander of the Guard Jaeger Regiment, Colonel Vesa Laitonen.

27.12.2024 | Skills required in winter circumstances will be trained again at the Jaeger Brigade on the Winter Combat Course from 4 to 17 January 2025. In addition to Finnish soldiers, 12 foreign soldiers from the USA, Canada, France and Great Britain will take part on the course.
