Defence Command Finland Logistics Department

Defence Command Finland Logistics Department control the logistics of the Defence Forces. Logistics are the Defence Forces' nationwide sectors. These include the procurement sector, service services, the systems sector, the economic sector, transport, maintenance, medical maintenance, the explosives sector, locality administration, replenishments and environmental protection. The department directs the entire logistics systems, situational awareness and command and control systems of the Defence Forces.

The Logistics Department plans the logistics of the Armed Forces, together with the rest of society, together with the rest of the central government, the business community and the security of supply agencies. In addition, the department conducts international cooperation in the logistics industry.

The Logistics Department of the Defence Command Finland includes six sectors:

•    Logistics sector
•    Systems sector
•    Medicinal maintenance sector
•    Procurement sector
