The Chief of Staff of the Estonian General Staff, Colonel Martin Herem, will make an official visit to Finland 31 October–1 November 2016. The visit will be hosted by his counterpart, the Finnish Chief of the Defence Command, Vice-Admiral Kari Takanen.
The chief of staff will be taken on familiarisation visits to the Armoured Brigade in Hattula and to the Coastal Brigade in Kirkkonummi, Upinniemi. Colonel Herem will meet Finnish Defence Forces' cooperation partners in the Armoured Brigade.
