Lieutenant General Vesa Virtanen will participate during 20.–21.9.2023 in the meeting of Nordic Chiefs of Defence Command to be held in Stockholm.
Held annually, the meeting provides the opportunity for discussing topical matters relating to Nordic defence co-operation. The meeting will discuss, among others, co-ordination of the Nordic defence co-operation work that is taking place in various fora. Additionally, the current security situation will be discussed.
Nordic defence co-operation has a long history, and Chiefs of Defence Command meet on a regular basis.
