The MIL-ISAC information sharing group has representatives from various enterprises that somehow contribute to the Finnish defence system. 10.2.2025 | The Army will organise the local defence exercises during 18.2.–7.3. this spring. From the Defence Forces, the altogether six local defence exercises will be participated by up to c. 3,000 conscripts, reservists, and service personnel, as well as more than 400 vehicles in total. As is characteristic for local defence exercises, the training audience will also include a significant number of other authorities and business sector stakeholders.

5.12.2024 | The Finnish Defence Forces participated in exercise Cyber Coalition 2024 (CC24) organized by NATO from 29 November to 5 December. Cyber Coalition is the flagship of NATO’s cyber exercises and one of the world’s largest annual cyber exercises. The command and cyber range organization of the exercise was in Tallinn, but the majority of the forces involved participated remotely from their own operating areas.

25.8.2021 | From 3 to 11 September 2021, the Finnish Defence Forces will train tasks of local defence across Finland. Apart from the Finnish Defence Forces, the exercises will also be participated by several agencies and organisations. Undertaking training strengthens local defence readiness in responding to rapid changes in the security situation, and develops inter-agency cooperation between authorities in disturbance situations.

8.2.2024 | The Utti Jaeger Regiment will lead the Northern Griffin 24 winter-conditions exercise in Northern Finland during 12 February – 15 March 2024. The Finnish Defence Forces’ helicopters will be part of the exercise.
