Hukkakero, Kittilä

Firings notice

Finnish Defence Forces will detonate decommissioned explosives in Hukkakero in Kittilä from 15th of August – 2nd of September 2016 daily between 08:00 and 22:00 hrs.

The Danger Area is Tarpomapää - Selkä-Mäntypää in the south, Selkä-Mäntypää - Paartoselkä - Leppäkumpu in the west, Leppäkumpu - Katajaselkä (excl. road) - Iso-Vitikko in the north, and Kittilä - Sodankylä - municipal border in the east. The height of the dangerous area extends to 4,200 metres. Unauthorised entry into and movement in the dangerous area is forbidden.

The detonations are carried out by Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command.
