Firings notice

Finnish Defence Forces will detonate in Hiienvaara firing range 5 June 11.00 hours - 6 June 14.00 hours 2018.

The Danger Area is the whole Hiienvaara firing range; bordered in the west by the crossing of Saahkarinvaara road and Tuohilampi road, Kelovaara and the wilderness cabin of Hopealampi, in the north by the wilderness cabin of Hopealampi, Hiienkangas, the border of the municipalities of Lieksa and Ilomantsi, Neulapuronkangas and the border of National Park Patvinsuo, in the east by the border of National Park Patvinsuo, Pirskanlampi and the east end of Lake Vene-Saahkari, in the south by Lake Vene-Saahkari and the crossing of Saahkarinvaara road and Tuohilampi road.

The detonations are carried out by Karelia Air Command.
