Firings notice

Finnish Defence Forces will be firing air defence weapons at Lohtaja firing range 12 Nov 2025 07:00 – 24:00 and 13 - 15 November 2025 at all times. In addition, anti-aircraft cannons will fire exceptionally on 13 Nov and 14 Nov between 00:00 – 07:00.

The dangerous area extends and is bordered in the south Hakunti, where from 4km south-southwest, where from Paskalaaka - Tankar, where from 18,5 km towards west. In the west 50 km from Vattajanniemi coastline to northwest. In the east from Ohtakari 12 km to north-northeast where from 38 km to northwest. Because of eye safety, it is prohibited to observe any aircrafts involved in this exercise with binoculars or other optical magnifying devices. The firing range will be cordoned 11 Nov 16:00 - 20 Nov 12:00 hrs.
