Slovenia will lead an evaluation visit in the Karelia Air Command
Slovenia will conduct a confidence and security building evaluation visit conform to the OSCE’s Vienna Document 2011 in the Karelia Air Command on 14 May 2019. The evaluation team includes also a representative from Canada. The evaluation team consists of three persons who hold diplomatic status.
The purpose of the visit is to evaluate whether the information concerning the Karelia Air Command given by Finland in the annual exchange of military information under the Vienna Document 2011 corresponds to the current information that will be given to the team during the evaluation visit. The evaluation coincides with the Bold Quest 19.1 assessment and demonstration event being conducted in Finland. The evaluation will be hosted by the Commander of the Karelia Air Command, Colonel Timo Herranen.
