The Finnish Defence Forces will conduct a surveillance flight in the in the Baltics – in the airspace of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia on 10 October 2023.
Air operations are systematic and part of normal cooperation between NATO member countries. The flights will continue to be conducted by the Finnish Defence Forces in the airspace of international partners and by international partners in Finnish airspace. The flights develop the interoperability of the Finnish Defence Forces, improve the common situational awareness and strengthen national defence. For operational security reasons, the details of the flights cannot be published.
