Finland to conduct an Open Skies flight in Russia

Finland will be conducting an Open Skies observation flight in Russia 11-15 April 2016. The mission will be flown with Sweden's Open Skies observation aircraft Saab 340B.

The maximum distance allowed for such a mission in Russia is 5,500 km. Finland's observation team of seven is led by Major Timo Heinäaho. Also one observer from Latvia will participate in the flight. The plane also has a six-man Swedish crew.
