Russia makes an evaluation visit to Lapland Air Command
In accordance with the OSCE Vienna Document 2011, Russia is carrying out an inspection to increase trust and safety during an evaluation visit to the Lapland Air Command on 28 April 2021. The evaluation team consists of three people and they have diplomatic status.
The objective of the evaluation visit is to establish whether Finland's annual military information exchange report on Lapland Air Command based on the Vienna Treaty in 2011, is in line with the information now presented to the evaluation team.
The evaluation visit is hosted by the Commander of the Lapland Air Command, Colonel Tuukka Karjalainen.
