The Commander of the Norwegian Armed Forces, General Eirik Kristoffersen, will visit Finland from 30 November to 1 December 2021. The host of the visit is the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Timo Kivinen.
During his visit, General Kristoffersen will meet with President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and Minister of Defence Antti Kaikkonen and hold discussions with the Top Leadership of the Defence Forces. The visit programme also includes acquaintance with maritime defence capabilities and a visit to the coastal troops' main exercise Atrain 21.
The visit is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and guidelines related to the coronavirus situation.
