NATO’s Commander Allied Joint Forces Command Naples, Admiral James Foggo will be visiting Finland 26-27 October 2018. The visit will be hosted by the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg.
During the visit Admiral Foggo will meet with the leadership of the Finnish Defence Forces at the Defence Command and he will also be familiarised with Finland's military national defence.
The visit to Finland is one of the normal visits conducted by NATO's different commanders to familiarise them with the operating environment and security situation of the area and with Finland as a NATO partner country.
Additionally, Admiral Foggo will be the Exercise Commander for NATO’s Exercise Trident Juncture, which is held 25 October 7 November. The exercise is mainly held in Norway and it will have around 50,000 participants from over 30 countries. Finland will send 600 participants to the exercise.
