The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg, and his spouse, will be paying an official visit to Italy 1-3 March 2016. The visit will be hosted by the Chief of Defence of the Italian Armed Forces, Claudio Graziano.
During the visit, General Lindberg will meet the Italian Ambassador to Finland, be familiarised with the Italian Armed Forces and meet Italian Armed Forces' military leadership.
The CHOD will be accompanied by Finland's Military Attaché to Italy (posted in Paris), Colonel Karri Heikinheimo, the Commander of the Finnish Navy, Rear Admiral Veijo Taipalus, and the CHOD's ADC, Major Timo Ronkainen.
