The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg will participate in the NATO Summit to be held in Warsaw 8-9 July 2016. The Finnish Delegation will be led by President Sauli Niinistö.
Together with the President of the Republic, General Lindberg will take part in the meeting on Afghanistan. With Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö, General Lindberg will take part in the Defence Minister meeting to which partner countries have been invited.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Timo Soini is also taking part in the summit.
