The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Lindberg, will take part in the Defence and Security Policy conference Rikskonferens in Sälen, Sweden, on 11 January 2016.
Rikskonferens is organised by Folk och försvar and it is Sweden's most important defence and security policy conference. Among others, it brings together Nordic defence ministers and commanders or their deputies.
General Lindberg shall be talking about Finland's defence solution from a military point of view. General Lindberg also participated in the event 2015.
The conference will be attended by Latvia's President Raimonds Vējonis, Sweden's Foreign Minister Margot Wallström, Sweden's Defence Minister Peter Hultqvist, Sweden's Supreme Commander General Micael Bydén and numerous other defence and security policy experts.
General Lindberg will be travelling with his ADC, Major Timo Ronkainen, and his special advisor, Colonel Vesa Nissinen.
