General Lindberg to travel to Berlin

The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg, has been invited by the German Minister of Defence, Ursula von der Leyen to the German national celebrations in honour of Hans-Lothar Domröse going into the reserve. The celebrations will take place in Berlin on 16 March 2016.

The celebrations will be attended by the high military command of many countries.

General Hans-Lothar Domröse will be going into the reserve having served last as NATO Allied Joint Force Command Commander in Brunssum (JFCB) in the Netherlands. General Domröse has been a guest in Finland several times over the course of his career.

During his short stay in Berlin, General Lindberg will also meet the Finnish ambassador in Berlin and the High Command of the Bundeswehr. The CHOD will be accompanied by his ADC, Major Timo Ronkainen.
