The chairman of the European Union's Military Committee, General Mikhail Kostarakos, will be visiting Finland 28- 30 September 2016. The visit will be hosted by the commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg.
During his visit, General Kostarakos will meet the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö, Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini and Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö, among others. He will also be familiarised with Finland's military national defence. General Kostarakos will be speaking at a National Defence Course event on 29 September.
