The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General, Timo Kivinen will visit Estonia on December 14, 2023.
The visit will be hosted by Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces, General Martin Herem. During his visit General Kivinen will meet the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Estonia, Hanno Pevkur. In addition, during the visit, the Estonian Division headquarters will be acquainted with.
Estonia is a close neighbour and ally of Finland. During the visit, bilateral discussions on deepening the military cooperation between Finland and Estonia will be held.
