The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Timo Kivinen, will participate in the Chiefs' of Defence Meeting of the Nordic and Baltic Countries 8 - 9 February 2023 in Tallinn.
The meeting discusses defence cooperation between the Nordic and Baltic countries and the security situation in the region and the material aid to Ukraine. The responsibility for hosting a meeting once a year is circulating. This year, the meeting was led by Estonia's Chief of Defense General Martin Herem together with the NORDEFCO Chair Nation Sweden's commander-in-chief General Michael Bydén.
