In accordance with the OSCE Vienna Document 2011, Canada is leading a multinational evaluation visit to the Karelia Air Command 1 - 3 February 2022. The evaluation team also includes a person from the Czech Republic and the members of the group have diplomatic status.
The objective of the evaluation visit is to establish whether Finland's annual military information exchange report on the Karelia Air Command based on the Vienna Treaty in 2011, is in line with the information now presented to the evaluation team.
The evaluation visit is hosted by the Commander of the Karelia Air Command, Colonel Aki Puustinen.
