14.10.2022 | On 17.–21.10.2022, the Guard Jaeger Regiment’s 1. Jaeger Company and Headquarters and Signals Company as well as the non-commissioned officer course signals programme will be exercising in the region of Uusimaa. The exercise drills will be arranged mainly at garrisons’ training exercise areas. Additionally, exercising will take place in Tuusula on 18.10. and in Lohja on 20.10.

21.5.2019 | Exercise Saber 19, led by the Guard Jaeger Regiment, is held in the Uusimaa region. The exercise is the final exercise of the conscripts who began their military service in January and are serving in rank-and-file duties, and for those conscript leaders, high-level readiness unit members and military drivers who began their service in July. Also participating in the exercise, is a light infantry unit of approximately 120 soldiers from the United Kingdom.

Arranged at the Utti Jaeger Regiment, the Special Forces Qualification Course provides you with the type of training that is interesting, versatile, and challenging. Completing the course will qualify you to apply for Special Jaeger Non-Commissioned Officer posts.

30.10.2025 | In early winter, Army training exercises will have thousands of conscripts, who are about to muster into the reserve in December, train together with reservists and allies across Finland. The exercises aim to validate the joint wartime capability of persons liable for military service trained for their tasks.

20.11.2016 | The Combat Training Centre for Military Operations on Urban Terrain (CTC MOUT) of the Swedish Army provides a unique opportunity for the Guard Jaeger Regiment’s personnel and reservists to develop new skills.

3.10.2019 | The Kvarn 19 Exercise to be led by the Guard Jaeger Regiment will be carried out in Sweden from 12 to 20 October 2019. Around 200 persons, including conscripts and regular personnel will participate in the exercise. The main objective of the exercise is to improve the readiness and capability of the Guard Jaeger Regiment’s readiness unit and urban jaegers for conducting demanding combat operations in built-up areas.

8.6.2017 | The KVARN17 exercise is the final and most important manoeuvre of the Uusimaa Jaeger Battalion's conscripts.

16.7.2024 | At the Jaeger Brigade, survival skills will be trained on the SERE instructors’ course during 17.–30.8.2024. The course will be attended by soldiers from Finland, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Great Britain.

15.2.2024 | The Army will organize this spring’s local defence exercises from 1 to 8 March. Conscripts, reservists, Defence Forces salaried personnel and a considerable number of representatives of other authorities will take part in the exercises.

16.11.2017 | The Defence Forces’ main exercise Uusimaa will be held in southern Finland from 27 November to 4 December 2017. The objective is to train defending the capital city area and coast in a rapidly escalating situation together with the other authorities.
