Firings notice

Finnish Defence Forces will detonate explosive ordnance disposal in Hiienvaara firing range 5 June 11:00-18:00 hours and 6 June 8:00-14:00 hours.

The danger area is the whole Hiienvaara range; bordered in the west by crossroads of Saahkarinvaara road and Tuohilampi road - Kelovaara - Hopealampi cabin, in the north by Hopealampi cabin - Hiienkangas - border between municipalities of Lieksa and Ilomantsi - Neulapuronkangas - border of Patvinsuo national park, in the east by border of Patvinsuo national park - Pirskanlampi - east end of lake Vene-Saahkari, in the south by lake Vene-Saahkari - crossroads of Saahkarinvaara road and Tuohilampi road.

The detonations are carried out by Karelia Air Command.
