Firings notice

Finnish Defence Forces will be firing air defence weapons at Lohtaja firing range 14 May 2024 07.00 hrs - 18 May 2024 24.00 hrs.

The dangerous area extends and is bordered in the south Hakunti - Paskalaaka - Tankar, towards 20 km to west where from 26 km to northwest. In the west 60 km from Vattajanniemi coastline to northwest. In the east from Ohtakari towards 70 km to northeast to the level of Piehinki where from 65 km to northwest. Because of eye safety, it is prohibited to view any aircrafts involved in this exercise with binoculars or other optical magnifying devices. The firing range will be close on 11 Nov 16.00 hrs - 21 Nov 12.00 hrs.

The firing is carried out by Air Force Academy.
