Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces to NATO Military Committee meeting in Belgium
The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg will participate in the parts of the NATO Military Committee commanders’ meeting intended for Partnership Countries on 15 January 2019. The meeting will be attended by the senior military commanders of NATO member states and Partnership for Peace countries.
During the trip General Lindberg will also meet with the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, General (Air Chief Marshall) Stuart Peach and personnel of Finland’s Mission to NATO in Belgium.
In addition to advisers working in Finland's Mission, the general will be accompanied in the meetings by Finland's military representative to the EU and NATO, Rear Admiral Juha Vauhkonen, stationed in Brussels, as well as by his ADC, Major Antti Rajahalme.
