Defence Forces e-services

You can use the Defence Forces’ e-services for attending to various matters related to conscript service or permissions. The FDF e-services require strong authentication.

To the services

MyMilitary (‘OmaIntti’) e-service

MyMilitary provides reservists and those liable for military service with guidance and services. The services and contents in MyMilitary are specific to user groups. For example, reservists and conscripts only have access to contents and services that concern them. 

If you are liable for military service, you have access to the following services:

Before military service

  • Preliminary questionnaires for recruits
  • Special application processes
  • Application for unarmed service
  • Application for transfer from unarmed to armed service
  • Application for voluntary military service for women & questionnaire for health examination 
  • Application for changing date of entry into service / service location
  • Notification of a change in the state of health
  • Application for exemption from military service due to multiple citizenship

Conscripts

  • Application for the military crisis management recruiting pool
  • Application for special duties

Reservists

  • Application for the military crisis management recruiting pool
  • Application for From Rank and File to NCO Course
  • Application for Wartime Leader Course 
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of an order to a refresher training exercise (return of Part B)
  • Updating personal details
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of a call to a voluntary exercise (return of Part B)
  • Notification of a change in the state of health
  • Application for exemption from a refresher training exercise

Electronic Permission Services

At the moment, the following applications can be submitted electronically:

  • Application for a permission for aerial photography
  • Application for a permission for flying in an area where aviation is restricted
  • Application for a permission to examine the ground from aircraft

If there is no e-service available, please use printable forms. The forms and instructions for applying for permissions can be found here: Forms

Fill in the forms and send them to the address given or to your regional office.

Regional Offices

The Defence Forces’ 12 regional offices organise call-up events, process applications for women’s voluntary military service and provide conscripts with guidance throughout their military service. 

If you need details about your wartime duties, you can get them by visiting your regional office and showing your ID.
