Finnish Air Force will participate in NATO’s Ramstein Alloy 2018-2 Training Event from 26 to 28 June with two F/A-18 Multi-Role Fighters.

The aim of the Ramstein Alloy events is to develop the cooperation of NATO and Partnership for Peace nation air forces operating in the Baltic area. During Ramstein Alloy 2018-2, Finnish Air Force F/A-18 will join aircraft from Estonian, French, German, Dutch, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish air forces for training taking place over Baltic states, Finland and international air space. During Ramstein Alloy Finnish Air Forces will operate from Rissala Air Base in Finland and visit Ämari Air Base in Estonia during the training missions.

Finnish Air Force has taken part in Ramstein Alloy events, originally known as Baltic Region Training Events (BRTE) since 2008.
