Finnish CHOD on working visit to Belgium
The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg, will be conduicting a working visit to NATO's operational headquarters in Mons, Belgium on 31 January 2017.
This is general's first working visit to meet General Curtis Scaparrotti, who started as the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe in May 2016. The programme also includes meeting with other military leadership of the headquarters and with the Finns working in the headquarters.
As a NATO Partnership for Peace country Finland continues to maintain and improve the good relationships also with the new SACEUR.
The general will be accompanied in the meetings by Finland's military representative to the EU and NATO, Rear Admiral Juha Vauhkonen, and his ADC, Major Timo Ronkainen.
