22.6.2023 | Last week was eventful in the Finnish Defence Forces International Centre (FINCENT) in Santahamina, Finland. The 2nd co-located NATO Annual Discipline Conference (ADC) was successfully conducted in Helsinki, in cooperation between FINCENT and the Civil-Military Cooperation Centre of Excellence (CCOE). Finnish troops have also participated in many international exercises. The main objective of international exercises is to integrate and learn from other forces’ procedures, but for an individual soldier, they are much more than that. The volume of threats has increased with the advancement of the international cyber domain accentuating the importance of international cooperation. Multinational cooperation in cyber operations was strengthened in a planning and exercise event held in Finland from 11 to 15 September 2023. 7.11.2018 | The unit training conducted in the framework of the Trident Juncture 18 exercise will come to an end on Wednesday 7 November. From Finland, a total of 600 soldiers including 300 conscripts have participated in the training.
