General Lindberg, the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces will take part in the meeting of the Nordic chiefs of defence in Norway on 8 March 2018.
The meeting is held on an annual basis and the responsibility for its organisation rotates with the NORDEFCO chairmanship. Finland held the chairmanship in 2017. The meeting will focus on the implementation and development of defence cooperation.
In addition to the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, Finland will be represented by Deputy Chief of Staff Strategy, Lieutenant General Kim Jäämeri, Deputy Chief of the Defence Command Training Division, Colonel Petteri Tervonen, Senior Staff Officer, Lieutenant Commander Sakari Soini and ADC to the Chief of Defence, Major Antti Rajahalme.
