Upon invitation by the Armed Forces of Great Britain, Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Jarmo Lindberg will travel to Great Britain together with his spouse for an official visit from 15 - 17 June 2017. The visit will be hosted by Chief of the Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach.
The programme for the visit will include among other things meetings with the commander and military leadership of the armed forces of Great Britain, familiarisation with the activities of a Royal Air Force (RAF) base in Scotland and participation in celebrations in London arranged on the occasion of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.
Major Timo Ronkainen, Aide de Camp to the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, will travel with General Lindberg.
